Stuff

Having spend virtually an entire week with Claire with the Amsterdam trip, going back to Leeds, her coming to Scarborough things felt like they were going well. We did have a few problems but were able to talk them through and sort them out.

Some of Scarborough

Some of Scarborough

I had the misfortune to live in Scarborough for a few years. It’s a nice place to visit but once it’s murky side is discovered then it’s time to leave. Old English seaside abounds, a history with little future.

Shopping and Movies

We spent the day shopping, mostly. Something felt wrong about it all though. The weather didn’t help with the persistant rain but Claire’s been a bit funny, a bit off. She’s not eating much, feeling ill a lot and generally not being her wonderful boyant self.

Comfortably Nervous

We wandered around Scarborough’s sea front down to Luna Park, which gave much merriment to the young Melbournian. A fish and chip supper just to be total tourists and then back along the seafront and up in the paths leading up to the Esplanade.

Night in Amsterdam

Night in Amsterdam

The latter part of the Amsterdam trip saw us enjoying the delights of outdoor Caf? life in Amsterdam, enjoying the sun and watching the world go by.
