A Brief Day in Washington DC
The beauty of power. Washington DC is all that you would expect it to be and more. Given the nature of politics and governments everything about DC oozes power. From the Capital Building all the way to the White House and including every government department along the way, Washington DC is a beautiful city.
Maybe it’s too big to see it all or perhaps we didn’t do all we should. Having worn myself out in the American History Museum seeing the city itself was more a chore than a pleasure. They say you are never 10 feet away from a Starbucks (or is that a rat?). There are Starbucks coffee cups everywhere. The interns learn to carry as many as possible as they ferry the beverage from store to office.
This city is going to need more visits.
