Cricket at the G
Went out for a meal the other night, ended up watching a load of football (of the English soccer variety). Finally had some tukey though!
Spent all of 28th at the Aus/Pakistan test match at the MCG. Good day. Aussie’s tail enders hanging on to create a first innings lead, a century for Martyn and a half century for Gillespie. 5 Pakistani wickets then fell before stumps.
Kept taking photos and playing with zoom on the camera till the batteries ran out so missed the chance of getting some shots of Shane Warne’s bowling.

Weather was a bit erratic, rain delaying the start and then threatening to hold up play every now and again but didn’t. The sun came out once it was right in front of us making viewing a little difficult at times. Face is now nicely burnt.
Opened an Aussie bank account today with ANZ and found a new internet cafe to use. Useful since the other one has an annoying habit of losing it’s connection from time to time and being very slow when it’s busy.
Had another wander down to Crown Casino for some more cheesecake. Mango this time, perhaps not as good as the passion fruit but still very tasty. Took a walk down Southbank and back up to visit the National Gallery and take a look at the Edvard Munch exhibition.
Barbie tonight with another snapper and prawns a plenty!
