Moonlight Metallica
Went to the Botanical Gardens Moonlight cinema to watch the Metallica movie Some Kind Of Monster. Excellent film and an excellent evening. Got there around 7.30pm, had a picnic with Will and Georgie. The film doesn’t start till it gets darker so the movie started around 9pm.
Turned out to be very long but excellent doco of the making of the St Anger album. Quite a tubulent time for the band so whoever thought of getting in the cameras prior to events should have got a hefty bonus.
I think I’ll now have to buy the album, St Anger. I hadn’t heard much of anything about it and the whole release sort of passed me by last year.
Plans are now being made for a Great Ocean Road trip. Having been to Melbourne Aquarium and seen more of the Botanical Gardens and the War Memorial and surrounding areas it’s now time to move on.
