York at Night
Patrice Warrener came to York in November to produce his new Chromolithe art technique. York Minster was amongst some of York’s famous buildings to be painted with multicoloured lighting effects.
The Chromolithe art uses light projectors to shine different colours onto buildings which add their original design. Patrice Warrener has perfected this and now travels around finding new ways to bring colour to old buildings.
York Minster was made to be seen in a whole new light (pun intended) in November. In it Patrice Warrener also highlights the West Front of York Minster and the Heart of Yorkshire, a piece of the window design that many have never seen.
The Chromolithe light art breathes new life into one of York’s iconic buildings.
