Take a ride up the Eiffel Tower and see Paris from Very High Up. View the Trocadero and think that Paris is a city to invade.
I’ve been awake since 5.30am. The bites I’ve acquired have been itching all night and now it’s just a bit too much. Another beautiful Parisienne morning arrives. The beauty of the Palace of Versailles, the weather and the tourists. Too many people in one place never leads to good travel experiences.
Walking down from the hotel to Louvre and spending several hours in the famous museum and gallery is a taxing affair. Arriving early is recommended as the queues grow quickly. There are some extremely touristy things to do in Paris and the Louvre is one of them. It’s a big museum. Very big.
Photos from Paris, August 2008. From the Louvre to Pont Neuf and Ille de Citie with a little Notre Dame.
Heading off on the Eurostar to Paris. Welcome to the City of Light. Romance, beauty and some very friendly Parisienne women.
Back in London again for the day on a slightly unplanned stopover before heading off to Paris the following morning.
