Bears @ Bucs @ Wembley
The Buccaneers have struggled in both their visits to London. New England did for them in a predictable fashion 2 years ago. Now new and improved, the Bucs took on the Bears for what could have been a closer game. Although with Jay Cutler on the field, anything can happen.
While the early game squirrel took a lot of the attention (mostly due to illegal motion) it’s been said that Matt Forte is the Chicago offense and with 145 yards rushing the trip to London clearly didn’t affect him. Jay Cutler managed to throw his customary interceptions (although Josh Freeman out did him in that stat). An interception led to a fumble which led to a lot officials losing their hats, an unnecessary roughness call and a review.
It turned out to be a game for the fans. All the Urlacher love in the stands was rewarded when 54 got his interception. We got the fun a safety, 6 interceptions, a missed field goal by Robbie Gould (very rare indeed), 5 touchdowns, a near late comeback (while the stands emptied) and the loss ended a fairly miserable day for the Glazer family.
Or maybe this is the future for the London Buccaneers?
