Last few days in Melbourne

The final few days in Melbourne before catching a late night flight back home. A trip to ACMI for the Dennis Hopper exhibition and the Immigration Museum mix with a fun New Year.

Hunting the Gold

A couple of days out in Victoria. Visiting the old Melbourne Gaol again and heading off on the train to Ballarat to visit the gold mine museum of Sovereign Hill.

Back to Melbourne and the G

Last day in Perth and the flight back to Melbourne to enjoy some cricket at the MCG.

Melbourne Museum

A day at the Melbourne Museum, learning a little more about the history of Melbourne and the Aboriginals who have lived here much longer.

Further on Up

Taking a ride up Eureka Tower to Skydeck 88 to view Melbourne from very high up. Skydeck is taller than Rialto and gives some impressive views of Melbourne.

Meandering Around Melbourne

Exploring parts of Melbourne I have yet to really see, cruising round the edges of the city on the free City Circle Tram, spending the morning in Fitzroy Gardens, seeing Captain Cook’s Cottage and heading on over to Spring St at the top of the hill.

Parks and Rec

Enjoy a walk down St Kilda Road, across the River Yarra and into the Domain Parkland, home to the best gardens in Melbourne, including Queen Victoria Gardens, Kings Domain and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
